Steelfixer (Sizewell C)

Location: Ballycommon Sizewell C

Job Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings.
  • Cutting, bending and fixing reinforcing steel to specification.
  • Installing reinforcement cages, mesh and steel bars for concrete structures.
  • Tying reinforcement using hand tools and power tools.
  • Working safely alongside shuttering carpenters, concrete teams and other trades.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, productivity and health & safety.
  • Carrying out general steelfixing duties on major civils and infrastructure works.

Qualifications

  • Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Steelfixing) or equivalent.

Experience

  • Previous experience working on major civils or infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
  • Good understanding of reinforced concrete construction.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
