Job Description
The Kent Talking Therapies Service is looking for a Step 2 Clinical Lead to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role you will oversee the running of the service pathways by ensuring timely access to assessments, treatments on onwards referrals for clients. You will support the current Step 2 staff by providing supervision and assisting with ongoing development and training.
There will be the opportunity to contribute to the development of excellent working relationships with external stakeholders such as training providers and primary care teams and also lead on specific areas of service improvement and development.
This role is full time and permanent. The working hours are 37.5 per week, working Monday - Friday.

Essential Skills
- You will be a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience and already has a Talking Therapies recognised qualification in clinical supervision.
- You will be able to demonstrate leadership skills and delegate appropriately.
- Have achieved the Graduate/Postgraduate Certificate in Evidence based Psychological Treatments accredited by NHS Talking Therapies.
- Be an accredited PWP with BABCP or eligible for accreditation.
- Understanding and up to date knowledge of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (NHS Talking Therapies) programme and principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
- Knowledge of the full range of evidence based psychological interventions across both step 2 and step 3.
- Experience of delivering clinical supervision to Step 2 staff and of clinical leadership.
- Experience of successful joint working, multi-agency and partnership working within a social care and/or health care service.
- Decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
