Sterile Services Technicians / Decontamination Technicians — temporary assignments, UK-wide
We're recruiting experienced decontamination staff for temporary assignments with NHS Trusts and independent healthcare providers across the UK.
The work:
- Reprocessing surgical instrument sets and flexible endoscopes
- Wash room, production room, autoclaves
- Endoscope leak testing and EWD operation
- Set assembly to count sheets
- Daily test regimes and load release
- HTM 01-01 and HTM 01-06 throughout
OUR ENTRY STANDARD — PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
Decontamination is a patient safety function, so we recruit to a deliberately high bar and we apply it without exception. To be considered you must have:
- Completed structured, supervised, competency-based decontamination training delivered in-house by a UK healthcare employer, signed off by a departmental manager, supervisor or Decontamination Lead
- A minimum of 12 months' continuous substantive service in a single UK decontamination department during and after that training (permanent, fixed-term and directly employed bank service all count)
- Verifiable references covering the last 3 years, including one from the manager of the department where your training was signed off

£15.00–£24.00 per hour PAYE depending on grade, specialty and location. Enhancements for nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
