Are you ready to play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service?

At STILL Material Handling, we're looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team in Exeter.

This is a pivotal position where you'll manage customer communications relating to breakdowns and service requirements, while coordinating a team of field-based Service Engineers. You'll play a vital role in ensuring we deliver first-class service, maximise engineer efficiency, and provide an outstanding customer experience.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and dispatch Service Engineers to breakdown and call-out activities, keeping customers informed through clear and effective communication at every stage.
  • Plan and arrange work arising from Thorough Examinations and scheduled service activities.
  • Organise third-party work through approved suppliers when required.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional call-handling standards.
  • Maintain accurate planning and scheduling data.
  • Ensure timesheet information is completed accurately and updated promptly to support efficient job processing.
  • Resolve invoice-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a customer service, coordination, scheduling, or planning role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build positive relationships at all levels, both internally and externally, via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Strong prioritisation and decision-making abilities.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-focused.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Previous planning or scheduling experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
