Are you an experienced inventory leader who thrives on driving stock accuracy and operational excellence? Do you enjoy high-performing teams and influencing positive change across a busy warehouse operation? Are you ready to take ownership of inventory performance within a fast-paced, customer-focused logistics environment?

Here at GXO, we’re seeking an experienced Stock & Admin Shift Manager to join our shared User site in Selby. Working closely with operational leaders and customer stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in maintaining stock integrity, delivering against key service level agreements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance performance across the site.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £47,044.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Leading, coaching and developing Inventory Team Leaders to drive engagement, performance and operational excellence
  • Ensuring stock accuracy and inventory integrity through robust controls, investigations and corrective actions
  • Monitoring and delivering inventory KPIs and customer SLA, taking ownership of performance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analysing stock trends, discrepancies and operational data to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Managing resource planning, operational priorities and budget considerations to support business demands and peak activity

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, inventory or stock control management role
  • Strong knowledge of WMS systems, inventory control processes and stock integrity best practices
  • Proven ability to investigate stock discrepancies and implement effective corrective actions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A proactive and hands-on leadership style with experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced operation
