Stock and Admin Supervisor – Maternity Cover
Location: Ayr
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-Term Maternity Cover
About the Role
Are you an experienced logistics professional with strong stock control and administration expertise? Do you enjoy leading teams, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring excellent customer outcomes? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Stock & Admin Supervisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the Stock & Admin Manager in leading both the stock and administration functions across the Distribution Centre and Cross Dock operations. You'll help deliver outstanding inventory accuracy, maintain effective administration processes, and support the development of a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the management of inventory and administration controls across the site.
- Assisting with stock investigations, audits, and corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
- Analysing stock loss and damage trends, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Working closely with warehouse, administration, and operational teams to drive best practice.
- Supporting the Delivery Administration function to ensure a positive customer delivery experience.
- Leading, motivating, and developing a team through coaching, performance management, and ongoing support.
- Producing and updating operational reports and providing insight to management teams.
- Driving operational efficiencies and promoting a "right first time" culture across the site.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and encouraging collaboration across departments.

What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory experience within a logistics, warehousing, or distribution environment.
- Experience managing stock control and administrative processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence presenting information and engaging with stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- A collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
