About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Stock Control & Wholesale/Retail Admin Assistant to support the accuracy and efficiency of our stock management, wholesale order processing, and retail administration functions.
This is a varied role combining core stock control responsibilities — monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock audits, and maintaining accurate records — with administrative support for wholesale order fulfilment and retail store operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Warehouse, Wholesale, and Retail teams to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the business.
This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, good administrative and IT skills, and an interest in warehouse, wholesale, or retail operations within a fast-paced multi-brand retail/ecommerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Control
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across warehouse locations.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Update and maintain stock records within the warehouse management system.
- Support the procurement team with replenishment orders and incoming deliveries.
- Ensure stock is stored in an organised, accessible, and safe manner.
- Generate stock and inventory reports as required.
Wholesale Administration
- Provide administrative support for the end-to-end wholesale order process.
- Assist with processing wholesale and B2B orders accurately and on time.
- Support retailer-specific labelling, ticketing, ASN creation, and carton compliance.
- Help coordinate wholesale order priorities in line with customer delivery windows.
- Maintain accurate wholesale order documentation and records.
- Liaise with the Wholesale Manager and Sales team on order status and queries.
- Support with retailer booking processes and delivery scheduling.

Retail Administration
- Provide administrative support to Retail Stores on stock-related queries.
- Assist with stock transfers, replenishment requests, and allocations to stores.
- Help resolve stock discrepancies reported by retail store teams.
- Support with the processing of retail returns and stock adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of retail stock movements.
- Act as a point of contact between the warehouse and retail stores on stock matters.
General
- Work closely with warehouse, wholesale, and retail colleagues to ensure efficient stock handling.
- Support with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
- Assist with peak-period stock and order processing demands.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

- Stock/inventory accuracy
- Timeliness and accuracy of wholesale order administration
- Retail stock query resolution time
- Stock audit completion and accuracy
- Data accuracy within warehouse management systems

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a stock control, warehouse, or administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities accurately.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g. Netsuite, Peoplevox, Mintsoft).
- Experience supporting wholesale and/or retail operations.
- Knowledge of stock control and inventory management processes.
- Experience within the fashion, apparel, footwear, or consumer goods sector.
