Stock Controller

Up to £41,000 DOE

Yolk Recruitment are supporting the recruitment of a Stock Controller to join an established FMCG manufacturing business with sites across South Wales. This is a hands-on stock control role focused on inventory accuracy, ERP systems, stock movements, cycle counting, reporting, and process improvement, working closely with Finance, Production, Warehouse, and other teams across the business.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous stock control, inventory control, or materials experience, ideally within an FMCG or manufacturing environment, who is confident using Excel and comfortable working across both production and warehouse areas.

As Stock Controller, you will take ownership of stock accuracy throughout the flow of materials, from goods in and production through to goods out and third-party warehouses. You'll monitor stock movements, investigate discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and work with colleagues across the business to improve processes and reduce stock inaccuracies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
