Stock Control & Warehouse Manager

Stakehill Industrial Estate, Middleton
Permanent, full time

Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial equipment. They manufacture and ship to tight customer deadlines, they carry the stock and components to do it, and they want one person accountable for the whole flow from purchase order to despatch.

You will own stock planning, inventory accuracy, goods in, goods out, purchasing, and the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will combine strong data-driven forecasting with practical, hands-on leadership to ensure our supply chain operates seamlessly.

Stock planning and control

  • Forecast supply and demand to hold the right stock, with no overstocking and no stockouts.
  • Set and monitor safety stock levels, reorder points, and min/max boundaries.
  • Run stocktakes, cycle counts, and inventory audits, and chase down every variance until it is explained.
  • Keep the ERP/WMS accurate and current so the numbers on screen match the numbers on the shelf.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
