Uniserve is a leading provider of innovative supply chain solutions, delivering excellence across global logistics. We are recruiting a Stock Controller for our Tilbury location.
Key Duties:
- Conduct stock counts across various environments on site
- To obtain and maintain appropriate MHE licences required to carry out stock counting task
- Perform cycle counts and adjust Warehouse Management System (WMS) stock quantities accordingly
- Ensure that daily stock control tasks are carried out accurately and promptly
- Support the administration of the department to ensure accurate processes
- Assist in the day-to-day activities of the business when required
- Collaborate with the Stock & System Manager in investigating stock errors and report the findings
- Maintain department records in adherence to company policies and procedures
- Manage department stock databases, ensuring sufficient information is available for correct identification
- Monitor customer stock needs, ensuring adequate stock availability to fulfil requests
- Any other duties required by company and line manager

Skills & Experience:

- Warehouse experience 1 year minimum, previous experience with MHE
- Excellent attention to detail
- A drive to see issues through from start to end
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- High standard of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word
- Experience working in both office and warehouse environments
- Understanding of warehousing and supply chain processes
- Good time management skills
- Adaptability, drive, and a proactive approach
