About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our team. The role will be based at our facility at Drumsill Distribution Centre on Moy Road, Armagh.
We provide a thorough induction programme, buddy system, and comprehensive on-the-job training in order to give you the best possible opportunity to succeed.
The purpose of the role is to well-execute and optimise the warehouse layout design. To provide easy access to stored goods, minimise travel time, and improve order fulfilment rates. Additionally, dealing with all new product as well as removing all dead stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock records and support effective stock control across the warehouse.
- Review product locations and help improve warehouse layout, picking routes, and replenishment flow.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, or incorrectly located stock and support corrective action.
- Maintain product, location, and replenishment information within the warehouse management system.
- Support new product setup, product placement, and safe, efficient stock storage.
- Use reports and data to identify opportunities to improve accuracy, productivity, and warehouse performance.
- Work closely with operations, team leaders, and category teams to support stock availability and process improvements.
- Help ensure the warehouse layout and pick locations remain safe, practical, and compliant.

Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills
- Experience in a warehouse, stock control, inventory, or distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process.
- Confident using warehouse systems, stock records, handheld devices, or similar tools.
- Basic computer skills, including Excel and email.
- Good communicator who can work well with team leaders, warehouse teams, and other departments.
- Proactive and willing to take initiative to solve problems and improve ways of working.
- Practical understanding of picking, replenishment, stock movement, and warehouse flow.
- Flexible, hands-on team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift, reach truck, or man-up truck experience would be desirable.

Qualifications & Experience
- A strong communicator with the confidence to ensure daily communication with the relevant departments
- Demonstrates the ability to develop/apply KPIs to measure and improve operational performance
- A team player with a collaborative approach to finding solutions
- Experience of high volume distribution industry.
- Demonstrates ability in achieving targets.
- Demonstrates ability to implement and sustain change.
- Process and Procedure focused, strong on compliance with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
