Stock Controller
Hilcote, Derbyshire
Location: Hilcote, Derbyshire
Responsible for ensuring the safe transport of quality product from the manufacturing lines into the designated locations within the stockyard. This includes but is not limited to, checking products for packaging discrepancies, stock rotation, making space for the storage of products all by operating multiple pieces of MHE suitable for each task.
The Role
This role involves collecting product directly from manufacturing, carrying out initial quality checks, and transporting to the correct location, highlighting any issues at the point of transfer.
- The successful candidate will ensure that all supporting paperwork is present and correct and recorded accurately onto the Syspro System.
- There will be a large focus on the Health & Safety in this role, especially with the use of MHE with regards to loading safely with a high degree of care ensuring that goods aren’t damaged during the loading process.
- The shifts for this position is 12 hour days, (6am - 6pm) on a rolling 4 on/4 off pattern.

The Candidate
The successful candidate should;
- Have excellent safety awareness, with a willingness to receive training in legislation and auditing as required.
- Hold a counterbalance and side loader or combi trained with a current UK driving licence.
- Have experience of working within a similar environment.
- Be self-motivated with the flexibility to adapt.
- Have strong numeracy skills, along with basic computer keyboard skills.
- Be able to effectively communicate at all levels across the business.
- Have good problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and work with accuracy.
- Experience of MRP/ Stock Control Systems.
