Copper Department Campsie Derry/L'Derry is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join our Sheet Metal Department and help keep our operations running smoothly.
As our Stock Controller, you will play a vital part in managing inventory accuracy, ensuring stock availability, and supporting efficient daily operations. You will join a close-knit, collaborative team where your work genuinely matters.
This isn’t a box-ticking stock role, you will have real input into how inventory is managed, how processes can be improved, and how operations can run better.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all copper raw material inventory from receipt through to production issue.
- Ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions within Oracle and BRiK systems.
- Monitor stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Carry out regular cycle counts and support full physical inventory audits.
- Generate and analyse inventory reports using Excel.
- Reconcile stock balances between physical inventory and system records.
- Liaise with Inward Goods, Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or excess inventory.
- Support continuous improvement activities to enhance inventory control processes.
- Adhere to company health, safety, and quality standards.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, Materials Controller, or Warehouse Inventory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle ERP.
- Experience using BRiK inventory or warehouse management systems.

- Experience working with high-value raw materials, metals, or manufacturing inventory.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and stock management processes.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Awareness of Lean Manufacturing practices.
