The role
As Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within our production and warehouse facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient production flow and ensuring timely delivery of materials to various departments. You will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to transport materials.
- Supply production lines with raw materials and remove finished goods to designated storage areas.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain a tidy and organised site to aid counting routines.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed and organizing materials.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow.
