The Role
Looking for a role where you can make a real impact on production operations?
Join VEKA as a Stock Movement Operator and become a key part of our Lamination team. In this role, you'll ensure materials are in the right place at the right time, helping to keep production running efficiently and supporting the manufacture of the high-quality products our customers expect. Using a combination of material handling equipment, SAP, and handheld scanning technology, you'll accurately manage stock movements between the warehouse and production areas while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll play an important role in supporting production targets, maintaining excellent housekeeping standards, and contributing to a positive team environment. If you're organised, safety-focused, and enjoy working in a hands-on manufacturing setting, this could be the perfect opportunity to develop your career with VEKA.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
