Location: Peterborough

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (requirement to be flexible due to business needs)

Salary: Circa £36,000 per annum depending on experience.


About the Role

We're looking for an Inventory Control Supervisor to join our Customer Support team at our automated Peterborough facility.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse or inventory professional ready to lead a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You'll play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting daily operations, driving team performance, and delivering excellent service to our customers.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of around 10 Inventory Control colleagues.
  • Managing daily workloads, attendance and team performance.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and colleague development.
  • Driving inventory accuracy through stock investigations and process compliance.
  • Acting as the first point of escalation for customer enquiries and operational issues.
  • Managing the shared customer inbox and ensuring timely communication.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Helping manage site administration, including purchase orders and PPE.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in inventory control, warehousing or logistics.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work across both AM and PM shifts.
  • Knowledge of shipping or transport operations is desirable but not essential.
