Stock & Systems Controller | Retail / E-commerce | Liverpool | £32k

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00 | 37.5 hours

The Opportunity

We're working with a fast-growing, product-led business looking for a Stock & Systems Controller to take ownership across stock accuracy, business systems and day-to-day IT support.

This is a hands-on, varied role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and making systems work better.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own stock accuracy across systems and locations, investigating discrepancies and variances.
  • Manage stock checks, reconciliations, transfers, returns and adjustments.
  • Produce accurate stock reports and maintain high-quality system data.
  • Act as a key contact for operational, stock and business systems.
  • Investigate system issues, data errors and process failures.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline and improve processes.
  • Provide first-line IT support across hardware, software, access and equipment.
  • Set up IT equipment and systems for new starters.
  • Liaise with external IT and software providers where required.
  • Support system implementations, upgrades and improvements.

  • Experience in stock control, inventory, systems or a similar operational role.
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, inventory or business systems.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving ability.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting basic IT issues.
  • Highly organised, proactive and confident working independently.
  • A natural problem solver who enjoys finding better ways of doing things.

Experience within e-commerce, retail, fashion, beauty, warehousing or distribution would be advantageous.
