We’re looking for a Stock & Systems Coordinator to join our new high-volume retail operation in Northampton. This is a purpose-designed, dedicated site servicing over 250+ stores, where speed, accuracy, and service are critical — and where you’ll play a key role in keeping everything aligned.
You’ll be the go-to
For inventory and system activity, working closely with the Inventory Operations Manager and wider operational teams to ensure stock accuracy, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement across a busy, MHE-heavy environment.
This is a full-time, permanent position
Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, either 08:00 – 16:00 or 09:00 - 17:00. Flexibility will be required to support a 24/7 operation when needed, this is logistics after all!

- You’ll be paid a salary of up to £40,000 per annum.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Act as the first point of contact for stock and systems queries, supporting the operation and escalating where needed
- Monitor and analyse inventory data using WMS and reporting tools, ensuring stock integrity is always maintained
- Investigate discrepancies, stock loss, and system issues, identifying root causes and putting effective corrective action in place
- Support daily inventory activity in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring KPIs and service levels are achieved
- Work collaboratively with operational teams, digital partners, and customer stakeholders to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience working in a warehouse inventory or systems-focused role, ideally in a fast-moving retail operation
- Strong understanding of stock control processes and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret data and trends
- Confident communicator who can build relationships across internal teams and customer stakeholders
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
