The Role
We’re on the lookout for a Stockroom Assistant who will be working with Lewis and the Team in our Bicester Village Designer Outlet store.
As a Stockroom Assistant at CT, you will ensure accurate stock management and replenishment while supporting the sales team and delivering an excellent customer experience in a fast-paced store environment.
This contract available is 8 hours per week (overtime also available). Candidates must be flexible to work across weekends.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Stockroom Assistant at CT, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the shop floor is fully and accurately stocked, working closely with the shop floor sales team to ensure that every customer opportunity is maximised. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Regular stock replenishment
- Stock accuracy checks
- Processing deliveries and transfers
- Replenishing till point supplies
- Responding efficiently to stock requests using the in-store radios
- Proper handling of merchandise (including packaging, labelling, and pricing)
Bicester is a fast-paced environment so whilst this role will largely be based within the Stock Room Team, this role is part of the wider Bicester Team. We prioritise and strive to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for our customers so you will be expected to have a presence on the shop floor to assist customers alongside the core duties of the role.
There’s also parts to the role that include ensuring high visual merchandising and store housekeeping standards consistently, adhering to VM, Compliance, and Health and Safety guidelines.

Previous experience in retail, an understanding of health and safety guidelines with some basic PC skills all advantageous, but not essential. Once upon a shirt, Nicholas Charles Tyrwhitt Wheeler (whilst studying Geography at Bristol University – we might add) had the notion that he could make a better shirt at better value than anyone else in the world! He believed that all men; no matter their shape or size, where they may be in the world or indeed their budget; should be able to own a Jermyn Street quality shirt. A proper shirt. A CT shirt. That was over 3 decades ago and whilst Charles Tyrwhitt (it rhymes with spirit by the way) is still famous for proper shirts, these days we are about so much more than collars and cuffs. Our purpose is to “make it easy for men to dress well.” We take care of a chap’s entire wardrobe, providing stylish solutions for every occasion. We make sure he gets what he wants, when and how he wants it.
