Job Introduction
At Whittard of Chelsea, we’ve been sharing the joy of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate since 1886. We believe in curiosity, quality, and great service that makes every visit special. Now, we’re looking for a Stockroom Assistant to support our busy superstore and help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
You’ll need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, key trading days, and during our opening period. We require availability of a minimum of 4 days.
A Day in the Life of a Whittard Stockroom Assistant
As a Stockroom Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our team, managing deliveries, organising stock, and ensuring the sales floor is always well supported.

Checking, storing, and replenishing stock to keep the store well stocked and running smoothly.

Operationally Reliable
Following stockroom procedures, health and safety, and security guidelines to keep the store safe and efficient.

Team-Oriented
Working closely with sales advisors and supervisors to support the whole team and keep the store looking great.

Detail-Focused
Spotting and resolving any stock issues to help maintain an excellent customer experience.
While your focus will be behind the scenes, you’ll also step onto the shop floor to support the team and provide hands-on customer service when needed—whether that’s helping a customer find a product or restocking a popular item.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
We’re looking for someone who’s organised, reliable, and enjoys being part of a busy retail team.
You’ll Need
- Previous stockroom or retail experience is helpful but not essential
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Flexibility to work weekends, key trading days, and varied shifts
