We are on the lookout for a Stockroom Manager to join our Camden Stables team for 30 hours per week.

THE GIG - Stockroom Manager (30hr) - Camden Stables

You will be responsible for the efficient operations of the back of house areas and managing a small stockroom team, as well as supporting your shop floor colleagues whenever possible.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

  • Maintain impeccable stock room standards, contributing to the wider performance of the store by ensuring product can be easily and promptly located.
  • Play a key role in loss prevention: conduct regular line checks, faulty checks and assist with stock takes.
  • Process deliveries in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining a correct stock file using the inventory system provided.
  • Lead, inspire and develop a stockroom team, ensuring the wider store team are also trained and compliant in all areas of stockroom management.
  • Take the lead in hiring new stockroom employees, providing them in-role training and conduction their probation reviews.
  • Assist on the shop floor when required; provide an excellent customer experience, demonstrate a natural approach to sales, act as a role model and brand ambassador, and ensure store targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Adhere to all H&S guidelines to maintain a healthy, safe and tidy work environment.
  • Play an active part in cultivating a great working environment within your store, working closely with your team

To be our Stockroom Manager you will also possess these qualities;

  • Previous stockroom or operational experience with an understanding of stock inventory management is essential.
  • A track record of excellent organisation skills.
  • Detail and process-orientated.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to identify areas of change, recommend future actions and manage implementations.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Good IT skills - confident using Word, Excel and EPOS till systems. An enthusiasm for Docs and confidence to share this with our customers.
  • Professional, but also authentic and fearless!
