Retail Advisor / Stocktaker

Are you a Bar Manager / Pub Manager, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor within the catering and hospitality industry looking for a better work/life balance?

Would you like to work sociable hours, Monday to Friday and have the evenings and weekends free?

How about Bank Holidays off and 8–10 days off over the Christmas period?

It sounds excellent! nGeneration is seeking either an experienced Stocktake Auditor / Stock-taker Advisor or a hospitality professional who has worked at management or supervisory level, with experience in Wet and Dry Stocktakes within their Bar, Pub, or Restaurant.

This is much more than a standard stocktaking role.

You will:

  • Develop long-term client relationships by providing professional advice and operational support to hospitality businesses.
  • Carry out stocktaking duties and analyse results through EPoS systems (additional training provided).
  • Help improve stock utilisation, driving profitability growth for your assigned venues.

SALARY & COMPENSATION

£26,000 – £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + competitive mileage allowance

ROLE DETAILS

  • Location: UK-wide (based in your own vehicle)
  • Hours: Full-Time, customer-facing with Monday to Friday scheduling
  • Travel: Regular visits to leading restaurants, pubs, bars, and retail entertainment venues

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
