Join Our Team as a Storage Engineer (Assistant Vice President)!

Are you ready to take the next exciting step in your career? We are searching for an experienced Storage & Data Protection Engineer to join our dynamic Platform Engineering team on a fixed-term contract basis. This is an incredible opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving strategic change within the infrastructure space of a leading organisation.

Position Details:

Role: Storage Engineer (Assistant Vice President)
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Daily Rate: £550.00 - £750.00
Working Pattern: Full Time
Location: London (Around Liverpool Street Station)

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this key role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing & Maintaining: Oversee enterprise storage and backup systems to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity across a global infrastructure.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise storage and data protection environments, ensuring lifecycle management of both hardware and software.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional IT teams and vendors to implement new solutions, support business continuity and disaster recovery plans, while adhering to security and operational standards.

Your Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong practical experience with enterprise storage and backup technologies such as NetApp, Dell PowerMax/PowerStore, Rubrik, or similar platforms in highly virtualized environments.
  • Solid Understanding: Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and data centre operations, with hands-on experience managing hardware lifecycles, patching, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively across global teams and managing vendor relationships.
