4.5 Hours per week (Saturdays) Permanent

Wynnstay Group is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Agricultural Store Assistant to join our friendly team and help deliver the trusted, knowledgeable service our farming and rural customers rely on.

As a key member of the store team, you'll create a welcoming experience for every customer - taking the time to understand their needs, helping them find the right products, and building lasting relationships within the local agricultural community.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with retail or customer service experience who enjoys working with people, being part of a close-knit team, and learning something new. Agricultural knowledge would be an advantage, but it isn't essential—we'll provide the support you need to develop your expertise. What matters most is your enthusiasm, positive attitude, and genuine commitment to helping customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Welcome customers, understand their requirements, and help them find the right products.
  • Identify opportunities to support customers with relevant products and services.
  • Build positive relationships with farming, rural, and local customers.
  • Provide accurate product information and advice within your level of knowledge and training.
  • Support the team with stock management, seasonal promotions, and in-store campaigns.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the store operates efficiently.
  • Consistently provide friendly, helpful, and professional customer service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
