The Opportunity
We are partnering with an internationally recognised luxury fine jewellery house to appoint an exceptional Store Director to lead one of its flagship boutiques in London.
Reporting directly to the Retail Director and working closely with the Executive Team, this is a highly visible leadership appointment responsible for driving commercial performance, developing an exceptional client experience, and leading a high-performing luxury retail team.
This role combines inspirational leadership, operational excellence, client development and commercial strategy. You'll be responsible for creating a culture of excellence whilst delivering an outstanding client journey that reflects the highest standards of luxury retail.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an established luxury retail leader with significant experience managing flagship boutiques, developing high-performing teams, and building meaningful relationships with High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clientele.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing boutique team.
- Create a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.
- Coach and mentor managers and sales professionals to maximise individual performance.
- Build succession plans and develop future leaders.
- Foster an environment where exceptional client experience is at the heart of every interaction.
Commercial Performance
- Drive commercial performance through strategic leadership and exceptional execution.
- Deliver and exceed boutique sales, profitability and KPI objectives.
- Analyse business performance and implement action plans to maximise opportunities.
- Monitor sales trends, productivity and conversion to ensure continuous improvement.
- Identify new commercial opportunities that support sustainable business growth.

Client Development & Private Client
- Champion a world-class clienteling culture across the boutique.
- Develop long-term relationships with HNW and UHNW clients.
- Support the growth of Private Client and High Jewellery business.
- Work closely with the wider business to deliver exceptional bespoke client experiences.
- Ensure CRM remains central to every client interaction through accurate profiling and relationship management.
Boutique Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the flagship boutique.
- Ensure operational excellence across all retail functions.
- Continuously review and improve processes to enhance both efficiency and the client journey.
- Maintain exceptional visual merchandising, stock management and luxury retail standards.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
Executive Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Retail Director and Executive Team to deliver strategic retail initiatives.
- Collaborate across Retail, Marketing, Merchandising and Client Development functions.
- Share market intelligence, competitor insights and emerging luxury trends.
- Support business planning through meaningful commercial reporting and analysis.
Brand Ambassador & Networking
- Act as an ambassador within London's luxury community.
- Build relationships with VIP clients, personal shoppers, stylists, concierges and luxury partners.
- Represent the business at private events, networking functions and exclusive client experiences.
- Strengthen the brand's presence within the luxury landscape through meaningful relationships.

About You
- 8–10+ years' leadership experience within luxury retail.
- Proven success leading flagship boutiques or high-performing luxury businesses.
- Background within Fine Jewellery, High Jewellery, Watches, or another luxury category.
- Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrable track record of delivering exceptional business performance.
- Experienced in developing and leading high-performing retail teams.
- Excellent clienteling skills with exposure to HNW and UHNW clientele.
- Strong operational and strategic leadership capability.
- Outstanding communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for luxury craftsmanship and delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Additional language skills would be advantageous.
