About the Role

Lead. Inspire. Grow. Deliver.

At Virgin Media O2, our stores are where technology meets human connection. Our retail teams create incredible experiences that keep customers coming back.

As a Store Manager, you'll be at the heart of it all, leading a team of around 5-15 colleagues to deliver exceptional service, drive commercial success, and bring our values to life every day. You'll create an environment where people feel empowered to perform at their best, customers receive expert advice, and every interaction leaves a lasting impression.

Whether you're developing talent, driving performance, or shaping the future of your store, you'll play a key role in creating a culture that represents our values of brave, real, and together.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Leading, inspiring, and developing a high-performing team that consistently delivers outstanding customer experiences.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment where colleagues can thrive and grow their careers.
  • Driving sales performance and commercial results while ensuring every customer receives the right solution for their needs.
  • Using insights, data, and your retail expertise to identify opportunities and maximize store performance.
  • Managing store operations, budgets, and P&L performance to ensure sustainable success.
  • Coaching and supporting colleagues through regular feedback, development, and performance conversations.
  • Ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and brand standards are always maintained.
  • Taking ownership of your store's performance and continually seeking new ways to improve results and customer satisfaction.
  • Travelling when required for regional meetings, store visits, training, and company events.

You’ll be supported from day one. Within your first two weeks, you’ll complete 2 x 2-day induction sessions (30 hours) covering product knowledge, systems, and customer experience. Ongoing coaching and development will support your growth beyond induction.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
