Role Description
The Store Manager role at ASDA STORES LIMITED in Witham is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations. This role works closely with regional leadership to meet business targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and team engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a track record of delivering a positive shopping experience.
- Proven Store Management experience in a retail environment, with the ability to oversee daily operations and lead a diverse team.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to resolve issues professionally.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring store activities, reducing shrink, and maintaining compliance with policies.
- Experience in people management, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with basic retail systems, point-of-sale technology, and reporting tools.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in retail; a relevant qualification in business, retail management, or a related field is beneficial.
