The Role

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring high standards of customer service, commercial performance, and team development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating, and developing the team
  • Driving sales and achieving performance targets
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and product expertise
  • Managing stock levels, merchandising, and product availability
  • Overseeing workshop bookings and service standards
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with the accounts office, management, and colleagues
  • Recruiting, training, and coaching team members
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
  • Managing rotas, staffing levels, and day-to-day operations
  • Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing action plans where required

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an individual who is:

  • Passionate about cycling and the cycling industry
  • An experienced retail manager or supervisor with proven leadership skills
  • Commercially aware with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Customer-focused and committed to delivering exceptional service
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Computer literate and confident using retail systems
  • An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills

Previous experience within the cycling industry would be advantageous, although strong retail management experience from a similar environment will also be considered.

Working Hours

Our stores operate between five and seven days per week, depending on location, with trading hours typically ranging from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Successful candidates must be flexible and available to work across these operating hours with split shifts where necessary, including weekends and peak trading periods.
