Store Manager - Food Convenience Retail

This position is based at our Southam store.

About the Role

As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall success of your store. You'll:

  • Lead, coach and inspire your team to deliver outstanding customer service every day.
  • Create a positive, supportive working environment where colleagues can develop and thrive.
  • Drive sales, profitability and operational excellence.
  • Recruit, develop and retain talented colleagues.
  • Manage stock, labour, waste and store costs effectively.
  • Maintain excellent standards of merchandising, food safety and compliance.
  • Build strong relationships within your local community and promote Society membership.
  • Ensure your store is safe, welcoming and always operating to the highest standards.

This is a varied, hands-on leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact every day.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems and delivering results. You'll ideally have:

  • Experience managing or supervising within a retail environment, ideally food retail.
  • A proven ability to motivate and develop colleagues.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing costs and performance.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A hands-on approach with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams.
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable.
