Store Manager - Multi-Site Retail Operations
Location: Heathrow
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 + 20% bonus
Hours: 38.75 hours per week
Typical Hours: 08:00-16:15
Working Pattern: Predominantly Monday to Friday, with 1 weekend in 3
We are recruiting for an experienced Store Manager to join a large, fast-paced and highly successful retail operation in the Heathrow area.
This is not a traditional single-store management role. You will have responsibility across multiple retail outlets within one location, making it particularly attractive to experienced Large or Big Box Store Manager, Area Managers, Cluster Managers and Multi-Site Managers who enjoy leading through others but would like to move away from spending their week travelling between sites.
The role combines commercial performance, people leadership, customer experience and operational excellence, with responsibility for driving results across a busy and high-profile retail environment.
The Role
You will lead and develop management and customer-facing teams, ensuring strong performance across sales, service, people and operational standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Take responsibility for the performance of multiple retail outlets within the location
- Lead, coach and develop Managers, Supervisors and wider store teams
- Drive sales, customer spend and overall commercial performance
- Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve results
- Deliver local commercial plans and initiatives
- Ensure daily sales targets and priorities are clearly communicated across teams
- Analyse performance and implement action plans where required
- Develop a strong succession pipeline through coaching, performance reviews and development plans
- Ensure staffing levels and deployment reflect customer demand and trading requirements
- Build effective relationships with brand and commercial partners
- Ensure stores maximise promotional and sales opportunities
- Work closely with stock and logistics teams to resolve availability and replenishment issues
- Maintain consistently high standards of customer service
- Manage escalated customer queries and complaints
- Ensure strong standards across Health & Safety, compliance and operational procedures
- Support the wider senior management team and deputise when required

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Work-Life Balance
One of the real attractions of this opportunity is the working pattern.
Unlike many senior retail management positions, the role is predominantly Monday to Friday, with only 1 weekend in 3.
Typical working hours are 08:00-16:15, based on a 38.75-hour week, providing considerably more consistency than many traditional retail leadership roles.
For an Area or Multi-Site Manager, it also offers the opportunity to retain the scale and responsibility of managing multiple operations while being based primarily in one location rather than travelling between a large geographical estate.
What's on Offer
- £45,000-£50,000 basic salary
- 20% management bonus
- 38.75-hour working week
- Typical hours of 08:00-16:15
- Predominantly Monday to Friday
- Only 1 weekend in 3
- Multi-site responsibility from one location
- Senior leadership responsibility within a large retail operation
- Strong training and development opportunities
- Excellent potential for future progression
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused retail leader who enjoys developing managers, driving performance and taking ownership of multiple operations, but is looking for a more structured working pattern than traditional field-based or high-street retail management.
