Role Description

The Store Manager role at A.P.C. is a full-time, on-site position based in Greater London. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, visual merchandising, stock management, and ensuring a well-presented sales floor. This role leads and coaches the store team to deliver excellent customer service, drive sales performance, and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction. The Store Manager monitors key performance indicators, supports retail loss prevention practices, and ensures compliance with company policies. The position collaborates closely with regional and corporate teams to implement brand initiatives and uphold A.P.C.’s identity and customer experience.

  • Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a commitment to delivering a high-quality in-store experience.
  • Proven Store Management experience in fashion or premium retail, with the ability to manage day-to-day operations and lead a diverse team.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring compliance, safeguarding inventory, and promoting a culture of accountability.
  • Experience in sales performance management, including setting targets, analysing results, and implementing action plans.
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Greater London, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic retail systems and POS tools; familiarity with inventory management software is an advantage.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in retail; formal training or education in business, retail management, or a related field is beneficial.
