Store Manager - Luxury Boutique, Central London
We are working with a premium fashion label to find an experienced Store Manager to take charge of its Central London boutique.
You will be the person who makes the store work. Every element of its performance sits with you, from the numbers and the team to the way each customer feels when they walk in.
What you'll be doing
- Running the boutique end to end, with full accountability for its trading results
- Setting the tone on the shop floor and delivering the kind of service clients expect from a luxury brand
- Hitting sales targets and keeping the store profitable, with regular reviews of how it is trading and clear plans to lift footfall, conversion and average spend
- Keeping stock levels and presentation right, getting the most out of each collection and feeding into what gets bought for the following season
- Shaping how the store looks, alongside the marketing team, from windows through to in-store displays
- Building a loyal client base, developing a strong CRM approach and looking after the brand's most valuable customers personally
- Managing customer enquiries by phone and email, and making sure online orders leave the store beautifully packed and on time
- Passing customer and product insight back to the leadership team so it can shape future ranges
- Creating and hosting in-store events that bring people through the door and connect the physical store with the brand's online presence
- Leading, scheduling and developing a small team, with regular catch-ups and a clear focus on growing sales every month

What we're looking for

- A background in managing premium or luxury stores, fashion preferred
- Someone who understands the commercial side of retail and is comfortable being measured on results
- Practical and well organised, with no issue getting involved in stock, packing and day-to-day tasks
- A natural leader who communicates well and brings the best out of a team
- Genuine care for creating a space customers enjoy spending time in
The basics
- Permanent, full time, five days a week including Saturdays
- Based in store, Central London
