Store Manager | Cardiff | £35,000

Are you an experienced Store Manager or Retail Manager looking for your next challenge?

We're recruiting for a Store Manager in Cardiff for a successful fashion, sports and lifestyle retailer. This is a great opportunity for a commercially focused retail manager to take ownership of a store, lead a team and drive strong sales and customer service performance.

The Role

As Store Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running and commercial performance of the store, leading and developing a team to deliver an excellent customer experience and achieve key sales and KPI targets.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading, coaching and developing a retail team
  • Driving sales, KPIs and overall store performance
  • Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high service standards
  • Managing stock, visual merchandising, rotas and operational standards
  • Managing store costs and ensuring strong commercial performance
  • Recruiting, onboarding and developing team members
  • Maintaining high standards across the store and creating an engaging environment
  • Taking ownership of the overall store operation

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced Store Manager or Retail Manager from fashion, sports, lifestyle or another customer-focused retail environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience managing a retail store and delivering against sales and KPI targets
  • Strong people management and team development skills
  • A commercial mindset with experience managing store performance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience managing stock, visual merchandising and store operations
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A hands-on approach and the confidence to lead from the front
