More about the role

Are you passionate about leading a team to succeed, to create a customer-centric culture and be the best in the market?

Our Store Managers work with real purpose, bringing a proactive attitude to lead our store operations, support our teams, and deliver a welcoming shopping experience every day.

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your store - leading a wider team of up to 350 colleagues, driving business performance, making sure our core supermarket offering is strong and competitive. They play a crucial role in our business and we're always on the lookout for great Store Managers across the UK to join us and embody these values.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

  • Set the culture: Create an inclusive, high-performing environment where colleagues feel supported, valued, and listened to.
  • Lead from the front: Spend time on the shop floor and across Market Street, coaching your team, keeping standards high, and making sure our foodmaker credentials shine.
  • Develop future talent: Build a strong succession plan by coaching, mentoring, and developing your management team to become the future leaders of our business.
  • Drive sales and standards: Keep your store safe, legal, and clean while looking at commercial data to spot opportunities, manage costs, and keep shelves well-stocked.
  • Connect with the community: Partner with your local area, empowering Community Champions and tailoring your store to make good things happen locally.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
