We are now seeking an inspiring and commercially minded Store Manager to lead our beautiful Bicester Village store.

What You'll Do:

As Store Manager, you will be accountable for the overall performance of the Bicester Village store, ensuring every customer receives the exceptional experience synonymous with the Fortnum & Mason name.

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team, creating a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer delight.
  • Drive commercial performance through effective leadership, coaching, and KPI management.
  • Spend significant time on the shop floor leading by example and supporting your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain talent, creating clear development pathways and succession plans.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and development conversations aligned with Company Objectives, Vision, and Values.
  • Ensure outstanding visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained throughout the store.
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the business, including stock management, compliance, health & safety, security, and loss prevention.
  • Use commercial insight and data analysis to identify opportunities for sales growth and operational improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and Bicester Village partners to maximise business opportunities.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement across the team.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Store Manager or senior retail leadership role within luxury, premium, or customer-focused retail.
  • A passionate leader with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience delivering sales growth and managing KPIs.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience managing store operations, stock control, compliance, and customer service standards.
  • Strong analytical and IT skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make informed decisions.
  • A customer-first mindset and a passion for storytelling, heritage, and creating memorable experiences.
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including weekends and peak trading periods.
