Convenience Store Manager

Location: Morrisons Daily Thurso

Employment Type: Full-time (Requires flexible shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends)

Are you a natural shopkeeper with a passion for customer service? At Morrisons Daily, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Store Manager to lead one of our busy local stores.

As Store Manager, you’ll run your store like it’s your own business: serving your local community, developing your team, driving performance, and making your store the best place to work and shop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial & Business Growth: Treat the store as your own business. Find innovative ways to boost sales, enhance product offerings, and manage costs effectively.
  • Exceptional Customer Experience: Lead from the front to deliver high-quality service aligned with the trusted Morrisons brand promise.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Champion an inclusive workplace culture. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing career progression for your team.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain top-tier store standards, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and operational guidelines.
  • Community Engagement: Build genuine relationships with local residents and ensure your store serves as a helpful hub for the neighborhood.

While experience in retail, convenience, or hospitality is helpful, we prioritise leadership capability over a specific checklist. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

Note: If your store includes Post Office services, appointment is subject to a mandatory P250 financial background check.
