Store Manager Designate - Kent
Are you an experienced retail leader looking for your next Store Manager job in Kent? Do you have a passion for developing teams, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving commercial results?
We're looking for a Store Manager Designate to join Vision Express in Kent on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious retail manager ready to develop into a Store Manager role within one of the UK's leading optical retailers.
As a Store Manager Designate, you'll support stores across Kent, gaining valuable experience in retail operations, people leadership, sales performance, and customer experience. Through a structured development programme, you'll build the skills and confidence needed to become a successful Store Manager.

About The Role
As a Store Manager Designate, you'll:
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing retail teams
- Drive sales performance and commercial growth
- Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care
- Manage store operations, compliance, and company standards
- Support colleague engagement, wellbeing, and performance
- Work alongside experienced Store Managers and regional leaders
You'll gain exposure to a variety of store environments, helping you develop into a well-rounded retail leader while preparing for your own Store Manager opportunity.

What We're Looking For
- Previous retail management, assistant manager, or store manager experience
- Strong commercial awareness and leadership skills
- Experience coaching and developing colleagues
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- A customer-focused approach and passion for retail
- Flexibility to travel across the Kent region
