Store Manager Designate - Vision Express Hertfordshire

Are you an experienced retail leader ready for your next challenge? As a Store Manager Designate at Vision Express, you'll support stores across Hertfordshire, working closely with Store Managers and their teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive performance and develop colleagues.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a people-focused environment and is passionate about developing others. While optics experience is preferred, it isn't essential. We're looking for someone with strong retail leadership experience, a coaching mindset and a commitment to operational excellence.

As part of the global EssilorLuxottica group, you'll work with leading brands including Ray-Ban, Meta, Oakley, Prada and Nuance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach and develop colleagues across multiple stores
  • Work collaboratively with Store Managers throughout the area to share best practice and drive performance
  • Support and develop new starters, helping them build confidence and capability
  • Maintain high standards of operational excellence, governance and compliance
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable experiences
  • Drive sales growth and achieve key business objectives
  • Build the skills and experience needed to progress into a Store Manager role

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or retail leader
  • Strong coaching and people development skills
  • A proven track record of maintaining high compliance standards
  • Commercial awareness and experience delivering results through teams
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across multiple locations
  • Flexibility to support stores across Hertfordshire
  • Optics experience preferred, but not essential
