Hush
Hush is an ambitious and distinctive fashion brand, with plans to double the business over the next few years. Founded 21 years ago, we are now established as one of the UK's leading online fashion retailers. We employ around 140 employees across head office and retail, creating and selling a beautiful range of women's clothing and accessories characterised by effortlessness, simplicity and a laidback sense of style.
Despite the challenges facing the retail industry, Hush has continued to grow, and our company culture still reflects our entrepreneurial roots and relaxed aesthetic. We love hard-working, talented people with a can-do attitude and a passion for what they do.
About the role
We're incredibly excited to be opening a brand-new Hush store in Harrogate, and we're looking for an inspiring and commercially driven Store Manager to lead it from day one.
This is a brilliant opportunity to put your stamp on a new store, build and develop your team and create a destination where customers love to shop and colleagues love to work.
You'll take full ownership of the store's performance, leading from the front to create an exceptional customer experience. You'll build genuine connections with our customers, inspire them through confident styling advice and make sure every visit feels warm, personal and unmistakably Hush.
You'll use data and commercial insight to drive sales, identify opportunities and maximise store performance. From visual merchandising and stock management to rota planning, budgeting and operational excellence, you'll ensure every aspect of the store reflects the Hush brand and operates to the highest standard.
People will be at the heart of everything you do. You'll recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team, creating an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued, supported and empowered to grow.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
