About the Role

Drink More Water, together we grow. Here at waterdrop®, we make drinking more water fun, convenient, and most importantly, sustainable! Explore the world of innovative and eco-friendly hydration with our fruity little cubes – Microdrinks – which help save plastic, reduce carbon emissions (compared to conventional pre-filled bottled drinks), and contribute towards a greener planet.

With a strong online presence, 40+ stores worldwide, dedicated B2B partners, and over 22,000+ retail and branded stores, we’re eager to take our journey to the next level—together with you!

We’re looking for a Team Leader (Full-time, 40 hours) to join our passionate team.


Responsibilities

  • Champion our Brand, Values, and Product: Be an Ambassador for waterdrop® and embody our Retail Core Values in the store:

  • Drive Sales and Cost Control: Maximise contributions by achieving budgeted sales targets while optimising store costs.
  • Monitor Performance: Report weekly figures accurately to assess store performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage Staffing: Ensure recruitment and scheduling align with budgets and support store operating hours.
  • Develop Your Team: Oversee training frequency and content to foster high customer service standards and align with the Elevate Management Development Programme.
  • Lead Customer Experience: Deliver an exceptional, brand-aligned customer experience.
  • Succession Planning: Identify and develop future store managers for long-term growth.
  • Manage Leadership Team: Coach and motivate the management team toward peak performance.
  • Proactive Store Presentation: Maintain cleanliness, visual displays, and merchandising across store and stockroom areas.
  • Gather Insights: Provide constructive feedback on product performance to relevant departments.
  • Communicate Effectively: Foster open dialogue within the store, across departments, and with customers.
  • Drive Events & Sales Growth: Leverage local marketing opportunities to boost retail and B2B sales.
  • Time & Priority Management: Stay organised to ensure the succession planning for change and meet prepare for senior management reviews.
  • Reward & Recognise: Use our Retail Core Values Thank You Cards to acknowledge outstanding contributions.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to company policies, including health and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Customer Service & Commercial Experience: Proven ability in customer-focused environments and commercial management.
  • Financial & Performance Awareness: Strong understanding of store KPIs, objectives, and strategies to improve performance.
  • Reporting & Accountability: Skilled at accruate sales reporting and communicating with senior management.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Expertise in coaching, motivating individuals and teams, and recruiting high-performing staff.
  • Communication Excellence: Collaborative and people-focused interpersonal skills.
  • Results-Driven Personality: Self-motivated, committed to achieving standards and targets.
  • Adaptability & Change Management: Ability to deleg ate effectively, adapt personal style, and manage change.
  • Resilience & Problem-Solving: Thrives in dynamic environments with a quick problem-solving mindset.
  • Feedback-Oriented: Welcomes self-improvement through constructive feedback to benefit personal, store, and team growth.
