Role: Subway Store Manager
Location: Blackburn, BB1 3HR

Salary: £32,000

We’re on the hunt for a passionate and motivated Store Manager to lead our Subway team, create excitement, and ensure every customer enjoys a fresh, made-to-order experience they won’t forget. As our Store Manager, you’ll take charge of your Subway store, blending operational excellence with a people-first approach. You’ll motivate your team to deliver exceptional service, crafting the perfect sandwiches with a smile, all while fostering a positive and energetic work environment that reflects Subway’s fresh and vibrant culture. From rolling up your sleeves during busy lunch rushes to developing creative strategies to drive sales, you’ll be at the heart of keeping the store efficient and successful.
What You’ll Do
- Take full accountability for the overall performance of the store, delivering exceptional customer experience, operational excellence, compliance and profitability.
- Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team, creating a culture of engagement, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of the store's commercial performance, driving sales growth, maximising profitability, and delivering financial targets through effective management of labour, stock, waste, and other controllable costs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, building strong customer relationships and creating a welcoming environment for colleagues and customers alike.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and succession planning to build a skilled, capable and future-focused team.
- Ensure the highest standards of food safety, health & safety, compliance and cleanliness are consistently maintained across the store.
- Use performance data and commercial insights to identify opportunities, drive improvement and enhance operational and financial results.
- Maintain excellent store standards, product availability and brand compliance while building strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and the local community.

What We Are Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in a managerial role, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team effectively.
- Dedicated to delivering excellent service that exceeds customer expectations.
- The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a fast-paced environment.
