Are you an inspiring leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, developing great teams and driving business performance?

As a Store Manager at Boots Opticians, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of your store, leading your team to deliver outstanding care for every customer and patient while creating an environment where colleagues can thrive.

You'll play a key role in shaping the success of your store, balancing customer care, people leadership, commercial performance and operational excellence.

At Boots Opticians, we help people see what's possible. As a Store Manager, you'll lead a team that delivers exceptional care, expertise and service, making a meaningful difference to customers, patients and colleagues every day.

Working alongside a diverse team of colleagues and clinical professionals, you'll create a culture where people feel valued, supported and inspired to perform at their best. You'll take ownership of your store's performance, ensuring customers receive a "best on the high street" experience at every stage of their journey.

No two days are the same. One day you could be coaching colleagues, reviewing performance and planning for future growth, while the next you're working alongside your team to support customers, driving operational excellence and identifying opportunities to improve patient care and business results.

  • Plan and manage clinics to meet customer demand and maximise capacity across your store.
  • Build strong relationships with local healthcare partners, Boots Hearingcare, NHS teams and colleagues across the wider business.
  • Lead through change with confidence, helping your team embrace new opportunities and ways of working.
  • Take ownership of your store's P&L, delivering sustainable business performance while maintaining exceptional standards of care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
