Role Description
As a Store Manager in Plymouth, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of an on-site retail store, ensuring an excellent customer experience and strong sales performance. This full-time role includes:

- Managing and motivating the store team
- Coordinating staffing and scheduling
- Maintaining high visual merchandising standards
- Monitoring sales targets
- Controlling stock levels
- Implementing retail loss prevention measures
- Handling customer queries and complaints
- Ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintaining compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures
- Collaborating with regional management to execute promotions, report on store performance, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability

Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Store Management experience in a retail environment, with proven ability to lead teams and oversee day-to-day operations.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging customers, guiding team members, and reporting to management.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, with experience in minimizing shrinkage and maintaining stock integrity.
- Previous experience in home improvement, tiles, or related retail sectors is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Plymouth, including weekends and peak trading hours as needed.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving sales and performance targets.
- Basic IT proficiency (e.g., POS systems, email, spreadsheets) and numeracy skills for stock control and sales reporting.
- Formal training or qualifications in retail management or business are advantageous but not mandatory.
