Role Description
The Store Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cookstown. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including:

The Store Manager ensures excellent customer service, resolves customer queries and concerns, and fosters a positive in-store experience. The role also involves:
- Scheduling staff
- Coaching and performance management
- Coordinating with regional and head office teams
- Maintaining compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Strong store management and retail operations skills, including experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with a track record of delivering a high-quality in-store experience.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to brief teams, provide feedback, and handle customer queries confidently.
- Understanding of retail loss prevention practices and basic stock control procedures.
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles, ideally within a multi-department or high-volume store.
- Ability to analyze sales reports and KPIs to make informed decisions and drive store performance.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage shifting demands.
- Comfort with basic IT systems and POS technology commonly used in retail environments.
- Flexible approach to working patterns, including weekends and peak trading periods.
