Role Description
The Store Manager role at American Vintage Groupe is a full-time, on-site position based in London. The Store Manager oversees day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, visual merchandising, stock management, and ensuring the boutique reflects the brand’s identity and standards. This role leads, coaches, and motivates the store team to deliver excellent customer service, achieve sales targets, and maximize store performance. The Store Manager handles scheduling, performance feedback, and training, while monitoring key performance indicators and implementing initiatives to improve conversion, average basket size, and customer loyalty. The position is also responsible for managing cash handling, safeguarding company assets, and enforcing retail loss prevention and safety procedures.

- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering a high-quality boutique experience.
- Excellent Communication skills to lead a team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and interact professionally with a diverse client base.
- Proven Store Management experience in fashion or retail, including staff supervision, sales planning, and operational oversight.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage, ensure compliance with store policies, and protect company assets.
- Experience working with POS systems, basic retail analytics, and inventory management tools.
- Ability to work on-site full time in London and flexibly adapt to weekend, evening, and holiday schedules as needed.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in fashion retail and a genuine interest in style and trends; supervisory or management experience is highly desirable.
