Job Title: Store Manager

Location: North London

Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum

Role: Permanent - Full Time

Want to Leave Retail Without Losing the Scale?

If you're currently running a large store, leading big teams and dealing with the pressures of retail, but you're tired of late nights, endless head office interference and limited progression opportunities, this could be exactly what you've been looking for.

We're recruiting a Store Manager into a high-volume operation that combines the pace and complexity of retail with the autonomy and progression opportunities that are becoming increasingly difficult to find on the high street.

You'll still be leading large teams.

You'll still be driving standards.

You'll still be managing performance, availability, customer experience and operational excellence.

What you won't be doing is worrying about late-night trading, seasonal retail peaks or endless layers of corporate bureaucracy.

This is an opportunity to take responsibility for a substantial operation generating around £30m in annual revenue, leading a team of approximately 50-60 colleagues through supervisors and managers.

The business is far more interested in your ability to lead people, drive standards and manage performance than whether you've worked in the sector before.

Why Consider It?

  • Up to £70,000 basic salary
  • No late-night trading
  • Typically 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
  • One weekend in three, with plans to move towards one in four
  • Genuine autonomy and decision-making authority
  • Large team leadership responsibility
  • Significant operational scale
  • Clear progression opportunities for ambitious leaders
  • Opportunity to move away from traditional retail without losing pace or complexity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
