We’re looking for an inspiring, hands-on Store Manager to bring out the best in our people, grow performance and create a brilliant experience for every customer. This is an opportunity to make a real difference while helping to fund life-saving research.
What you’ll be doing
As Store Manager, you’ll take ownership of your store’s performance. You’ll maximise sales across physical and digital channels, deliver store targets and lead an inclusive, diverse team that consistently demonstrates the BHF values.

No two days are the same in this varied, fast-paced and hands-on role. With a busy flow of collections, deliveries and donations, the work can be physically demanding—but it is hugely rewarding to know that your leadership is helping to fund life-saving research.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a customer-facing role within retail, hospitality or the service industry
- A track record of leading, motivating and developing teams
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to achieve sales targets
- A commitment to maintaining the highest retail standards
- The confidence to use your own initiative and respond proactively to changing business needs and objectives
- The ability to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- An understanding of budgets and P&L

Flexibility
Our stores trade seven days a week, so you’ll need to be fully flexible to work across the week, including weekends and bank holidays, on a rota basis.
