Store Manager - Vision Express Lakeside Tesco

Are you an experienced Store Manager looking for a new challenge in a supportive, close-knit environment? Vision Express Lakeside Tesco is looking for a passionate Store Manager to lead our established team and drive an exceptional customer experience.

Located within Tesco Lakeside, this smaller format store offers a fantastic opportunity for a Store Manager who enjoys leading from the front, building strong customer relationships, and developing a highly engaged team. You'll work alongside one resident Optometrist and two experienced part-time Optical Assistants, giving you the support of knowledgeable colleagues while providing plenty of opportunity to make the role your own.

This is an excellent development opportunity for an ambitious Store Manager looking to broaden their experience in a growing retailer. Previous optics experience isn't required. We'll provide training and support to help you succeed and build a rewarding long-term career.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small, experienced team
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and patient experiences
  • Drive store performance and achieve commercial objectives
  • Create a positive and engaging culture for colleagues and customers
  • Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and high retail standards
  • Build relationships within the local community and Tesco environment

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or retail leader
  • Strong people leadership and coaching skills
  • A commercial mindset and ability to deliver results
  • Confidence in motivating and developing others
  • Passion for outstanding customer service
  • Optics experience is not essential
