Ready to lead a high-profile StoreFront initiative and shape the strategy that drives growth, customer engagement, and commercial success?

R&D Partners is seeking a StoreFront Offering Director to lead and execute the commercial strategy for a high-profile StoreFront initiative. This role focuses on driving product availability, optimizing promotions, implementing effective pricing models, and delivering a seamless customer experience while achieving key commercial targets such as lead generation and revenue growth.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, marketing, platform development, and customer service, to deliver impactful StoreFront initiatives. The role requires a data-driven approach to identify growth opportunities, manage onboarding and governance of internal partners, and maintain high standards of catalogue quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the StoreFront strategy and roadmap in alignment with commercial objectives and growth targets.
  • Manage onboarding, performance, and compliance of offerings to uphold StoreFront standards.
  • Optimize product listings, descriptions, and taxonomy to enhance discoverability and client engagement.
  • Develop and implement pricing and promotional strategies to maximize sales and margins.
  • Set and monitor KPIs and operational metrics, providing regular performance reports and actionable insights.
  • Address StoreFront incidents, disputes, or service failures promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve listing quality, customer experience, and fulfillment efficiency.
  • Establish and enforce governance policies and processes for StoreFront operations.
  • Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute launches, campaigns, and promotional calendars.
  • Analyze customer feedback and usage data to drive product and service improvements.
  • Identify and implement automation or process enhancements to boost operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with platform development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure an exceptional user experience.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience leading an online store or e-commerce program.
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing, promotions, and margin management.
  • Proven experience in catalogue management, product listing optimization, and taxonomy governance.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and methodical approach to incident resolution.
  • Experience in setting and reporting on KPIs and operational metrics.
