Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Wareham, Dorset

Compensation: £17,685.31 + Benefits

Role Type: Part Time / Permanent

Role ID: SF75156

Keep critical resources moving and support operations that make a difference.

At Babcock, we're working to create a safe and secure world, together. If you join us, you can play your part as a Storekeeper at Bovington, near Wareham, Dorset.

The role

As a Storekeeper, you'll play an important role in supporting logistics and operational activities, ensuring equipment, stock, and resources are available where and when they're needed. Working within a busy stores environment, you'll help maintain accurate inventory records, support stock management activities, and ensure operational requirements are met efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team where your attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to service delivery will directly contribute to the successful performance of a key defence training contract.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Managing and maintaining accurate stock and inventory records.
  • Operating and managing inventory account systems, with full training provided.
  • Conducting equipment issues, receipts, and stock transactions in line with procedures.
  • Ordering fuels and lubricants using approved processes and systems.
  • Carrying out regular stores inspections, stock checks, and inventory audits.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 25 hours per week. Flexible working days can be agreed. The role is based on site at Bovington.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
